Job Descriptions

1. Position Overview

The ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs related to Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSMS), ensuring participants gain comprehensive knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 requirements, auditing principles, and practical audit skills. The role also includes developing course materials, conducting assessments, and supporting organizations in enhancing compliance and safety performance.


2. Key Responsibilities

A. Training Delivery

  • Deliver ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, and Awareness-level training programs.

  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-site training sessions in accordance with international accreditation body requirements (e.g., IRCA, CQI, Exemplar Global).

  • Facilitate participant engagement through activities, workshops, case studies, and audit simulations.

  • Assess participant performance through exams, quizzes, and practical exercises.

B. Course Development & Improvement

  • Review and update training materials, presentations, manuals, and handouts to ensure compliance with current standards.

  • Develop new training content, including real-life examples, audit scenarios, and assessment tools.

  • Align course content with ISO 19011 guidelines and best practices in OHS auditing.

C. Auditing & Technical Support

  • Conduct OHSMS audits (internal/external) as required for clients.

  • Provide expert guidance on ISO 45001 implementation, risk management, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance.

  • Support organizations in developing and improving their OHSMS documentation, procedures, and audit processes.

D. Client Engagement & Communication

  • Coordinate with clients to understand training needs, schedules, and customization requirements.

  • Provide professional guidance and recommendations to clients on OHSMS development and continual improvement.

  • Prepare training reports, attendance records, feedback summaries, and certification documentation.


3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.

  • ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor certification from a recognized body (IRCA/CQI/Exemplar Global preferred).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in OHSMS auditing, consulting, or safety management.

  • At least 2 years of experience in training delivery or corporate instructional facilitation.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 19011 auditing guidelines.

  • Familiarity with local and international occupational health & safety regulations, best practices, and compliance standards.


4. Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent training facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and audit-report writing skills.

  • Ability to translate complex OHSMS concepts into easy-to-understand training content.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital training platforms (Zoom, Teams, LMS systems).

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-handling abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple training programs simultaneously.


5. Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel for client training and audits.

  • Ability to conduct bilingual training (if applicable).

  • Experience with other ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001 Integrated Management Systems) is an advantage.
