We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager for IT industry. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of the IT industry, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for server/network equipment of any brands in one or more regions such as UAE, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh
- Identify and target new business opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and convert leads into sales.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with their business goals.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set sales targets, and provide ongoing feedback and training to ensure the team's continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand network and promote the company's products and services.
- Continuously monitor and analyse sales metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role in the IT industry.
- Sales experience in server/network equipment of any brands in one or more regions such as UAE, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh.
- Strong knowledge of the IT industry, including software, hardware, and services.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with clients at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
