Auto Electrician (Equipment & Trucks)

Location: Kampala, Uganda

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join in Kampala, Uganda. The Auto Electrician will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical repair and maintenance work on our company's vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including cars, trucks, buses, and heavy machinery.
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles and equipment, including battery and charging system checks, electrical system inspections, and other related tasks.
• Install and repair electrical components and accessories, such as radios, alarms, GPS devices, and lighting systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical problems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance work performed.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
• 35 Years Old
• With at least 15 to 20 years’ experience 
• Hands on experience in Scania, Howo & other trucks is must
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts
