We are seeking applications from dynamic Nurses with experience working in fast paced ophthalmic surgery with DHA license.

Location: Jumeira, Al Barsha

Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing
• DHA License /Eligibility Letter
• 2 years of experience in Eye Clinic will be an advantage
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to follow instructions but also to act independently if necessary.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Active listening skills and empathy.
• Presentable appearance  
• Excellent communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and other treatments as ordered by the doctor
• Assisting with procedures such as tests for glaucoma, cataracts, corneal transplants, retinal scans, and electroretinograms (ERGs)
• Interpreting test results and communicating them to the patient’s physician
• Preparing patients for examinations by explaining procedures and providing instructions on how to behave during the examination
• Recording information about the patient, including medical history, diagnosis, treatment plan, and progress
• Observing patients during examinations to ensure they follow instructions and are in good health
• Performing basic nursing tasks such as administering eye drops, giving eye exams, and cleaning equipment
• Maintaining patient records to track treatment progress, health problems, and diagnose
